Music Box (2015)
This is a pair of short, quirky fixed-format audio works, based around sampled sounds of an old Pinocchio music box from my childhood. The first piece, "Melting Rain", is comprised entirely of music box sounds, reversed and manipulated. The second piece, "War Games on the Ant Hill", adds additional sounds into the mix, such as scraped/bowed electric guitar and the dropping and key clicking of an old, irreparable baritone sax.
